After years of talking about traveling the world, we've finally taken the plunge! We quit our jobs, sold our house, downsized our belongings, and put the rest in storage (except our dog Jilly - she's staying rent-free with Travis' parents). We packed our two backpacks and hit the road, with grand plans to travel to three major regions: (1) Central and South America, (2) Southeast Asia, and (3) Eastern Europe.

We're unemployed and loving every minute of it. Hopefully we won't have to be contributing members of society for at least a whole year. In the meantime, we'll just be world citizens, soaking up every culture we can.
